DWELLING AND SHOPS DESTROYED. [Pim Prebb Association.! AUCKLAND, October 25. A fire at Patumahoe on Saturday completely destroyed a dwelling Qnd two shops owned by Mr. J. Henry, and occupied by Mr. Miller. The damage is estimated at £1035. The insurance on the building and contents totals £720 in the London Liverpool and Globe office. A CREAMERY ABLAZE. The Kaitaia Dairy Company’s creamery, Victoria Valley, was destroyed by fire on Friday. The insurance, was £4OO in the National office. RAILWAY STATION BURNED. , f , s LEVIN, October 25. The railway station was burned down at 3 o’clock this morning, only the luggage room being left standing. The whole of the luggage and the cash in hand, £4O, were saved. Everything else was destroyed. The origin of the fire is unknown, there being no apparent cause. Trains are expected to be delayed to-day, pending permanent arrangements. The fire brigrade’s good work is accountable for the property saved. . .
