VISIT TO AUCKLAND.' | Pick Pkicss Association.l AUCKLAND, October 25. The Chambers of Commerce delegates on Sunday were conveyed in seven motors for a tour of the city and suburbs. They were entertained at afternoon tea at the Hon. E. Mitclielson’s residence, Re mu era. This morning the Chamber of Commerce took the visitors and lady friends for a trip round the harbor. The chairman of the party telegraphed to Sir Joseph Ward thanking him and the* Government for a most successful visit, which was immensely enjoyed by all. The Hon. T. Mackenzie’s valuable aid and readiness to afford information had greatly contributed to this success. Sir Joseph Ward replied: '‘Gratified to know the visit has been successful and enjoyable. Regret your stay is not longer.”
