AN UNTRUSTWORTHY SALES- , MAN. ’DUNEDIN, October 26. Robert Vance was charged at the Police Court 'with the- theft of goods of J. and J. Arthur, outfitters. He had only been in their employ as salesman one day, when thefts were committed to the value 1 of £lB odd. Piisoner, who bore a bad character, was sentenced to three months’ impii.sonment.
