The director of the British Meteorological Office attended a conference in Canada to organise the systematic collection and exchange of weather data throughout the Empire. The world will be divided into sections, for which the various Imperial meteorological offices are to be responsible. The Australian Commonwealth Bureau is considered of great importance by some, owing to the amount of ground it covers.
