There was a fair attendance at the meeting of the Poverty Bay Bee Farmers’ Association in Townley s Ball on Saturday afternoon. The President, .Mr. G. Stevenson, presided. l| was thought that the time had arrived when a local inspector was necessary, and it was decided to write to the Minister Of Agriculture requesting that one Should die appointed. The havoc wrought to 'bees through trees m nil bloom being sprayed with arsenate of lead and other poisonous mixtures was discussed at i length, and it was finally decided to take” action in the matter. Eti was also decided to held ;v- Honey Show at a date to be fixed during the honey season.
