Obituary: Morris Asher, 92 years of ago. Ho participated in the Maori AVar, assisting in the capture of the chief “Roluilla.” He also claimed to have built the first brick house in W el* lirigton.

MRS. STEPHENSON
[Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, Nov. 1. Obituary: Mrs. Stephenson, widow of the late John Stephenson, of the firm of Wright and Stephenson. It is stated that she recently joined the Roman Catholic Church.
