PATIIE PICTURES
The pictures which will be shown tonight and to-morrow night were greeted with expressions of genuine approval last evening at His "Majesty’s Theatre. The reception accorded to the “Boy Scouts to the Rescue” must have been very satisfactory to the management. “The Hand of the Victim” goes near to being a tragedy, and is full of force and power. For a panoramic view of an educative kind, “A Day in Washington” is worthy of high praise. “Frost-bound Nature” is a picture of scenic splendor that approaches the ideal. All that has been said of this programme has been fully substantiated by the excellence of the pictures, which will be shown for the last time to-morrow evening. A complete change of programme will be given at the matinee and evening performances on Saturday next.
