BRITISH MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.
FAILURE OF WOMEN CANDIDATES

The municipal elections show the failure of women candidates througnout the country. Fifty were nominated for London and .five elected. The Municipal Reformers have majorities in 24 boroughs of London and the Progressives have majorities in the other four.
