ANOTHER WARNING FROM LORD
BERESFORD
(Received November 7, 5.5 p.m.)
LONDON, Nov. 6
Lord Charles Beresford, in a letter to Mr. Lloyd, solicitor, Unionist candidate for Rhondda, declares that the navy is not properly organised or trained, that no plan of campaign exists, and the navy is dangerously short in many units. Unless the country woke to the great necessity of adequate naval defence shortly, there was no doubt that the Empire would bo a thing of the past. Thinking people of other countries see the dangerous position of Britain more clearly than we do.
