John Stewart Kennedy Scott, American banker, aged 80, who recently died at New York, left five million sterling to religious, educational, and charitable institutions, chiefly Presbyterian, and seven millions to his widow, relatives, friends, and employees. The University of Glasgow received twenty thousand sterling under the will.
