POVERTY BAY CRICKET ASSO-

CI ATI ON

The usual weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Poverty Bay Cricket Association was held last evening at the Alhambra Club rooms, Mr. T. Armstrong presiding. Al letter was received from the Hon. Jas. Carroll accepting office as a patron of the Association. A protest was received from the Alhambra Club against the Y.M.C.A. Club playing an unregistered player in the junior match between these clubs > at Victoria Domain on Saturday last. Mr. J. Lang proposed, and Mr. Allen .seconded, that the match in consequence be awarded to Alhambra. An amendment was proposed by Mr. Grant, and seconded by Mr. Barker, that the match Jbe re-piayed.
