(Received November 9, 10.10 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 8. Mr. Lionel Brough, the actor, is dead.
[Lionel Brough was born in 1836. Hi.s first appearance at the Lyceum was in 1854. He published the first number of the “Daily Telegraph,’ and also instituted the system of selling newspapers in the streets; afterwards five years on the staff of the “Morning Star.” Joined theatrical profession (permanently) at Prince of Wales’, Liverpool, 1863; played in almost every first-class theatre in United Kingdom, America, South Africa, and Austialasia!]
