POLITICAL NOTES.
THE BUDGET DEBATE. (Special to “Times.”) WELLINGTON, Nov. 9. To-morrow evening the Budget will be delivered, and' it is probable that the House, following the usual practice, will immediately adjourn in order to give members an opportunity to master its details. Discussion on the Financial Statement is expected to begin on Tuesday next, and will take place on the first item on the estimates. How long the discussion will last it is impossible to say. Much depends upon the fullness or otherwise of the information supplied in the Budget deliverance and the nature of its contents. Possibly it will occupy the s>esi part of a week.. In any ease, on Friday next, the State Guaranteed Advances Bill will, it is anticipated, be dealt with in committee.
