There was a good attendance at Ellerslie to-day for the concluding dav’s racing of the Auckland Pacing Club’s spring meeting. The course was m excellent order, and the weather calm but rather oppressive.The following were the results of the racing: Hunt Club Steeplechase, about 3J miles. —Hina 12.0, 1 ;Westerley 11.3, 2; Potiki 11.4, 3. The stewards were dissatisfied with the running of Miss Winnie, and after hearing the statements of the trainer and rider (Brady) administered a severe caution.
