A SPECIAL ORDER made by the Waikohu County Council at a Special Meeting held in the Council Chambers, Te Karaka, on FRIDAY, the loth day of October, 1909, to be confirmed at a Special Meeting to be hold' on WEDNESDAY, the 24th day of November, 1909. In pursuance and exercise of the powers vostel in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908, the Waikohu County Council hereby resolves as follows: — That for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £2600, authorised to be raised by the Waikohu County Council under the above mentioned Act for constructing a new road from the of formation in No. 10 Mangatu No. Ito the Waitangirua Strchm. The said Waikohu County Council hereby makes an<l levies a Special Kate of FOUR,PENCE in the £1 sterling upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Mangahamia Special Rating District No. 2, comprising—Part Man<mtu No. 1. being Sec. IS, 20a, and Sec. 21, 9SSO acres, £4940; part of Sees 20 and 21, Mangatu No. 1. 3054 acres, £1354; and that such Special Rate shall bo an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and bo payable yearly on tlic first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years or until the loan is fully paid off; the rate of m-ta-ost to bo 35 Clerk. 2nd November, 1909.
