ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
DEATH UNDER CHLOROFORM-
I'Pkr Press Association.l CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 25. Mrs. Elizabeth Voyce, a patient atthe hospital, died this afternoon while-, under an operation. At the inquest. evidence showed that the deceased wassuffering from a tumor, from which she would, have succumbed if not operated .upon. Chloroform-was first administered, - and then ether, under which-., the patient collapsed. A verdict, was. returned of death by misadventure. DECOMPOSED BODY FOUND. WELLINGTON. Nor. 25. The decomposed body of a man was: found on Kaiwarra beach this afternoon. The police think the body may be that of a man named Edwards, who - has been missing for.three weeks. ATTEMPTED SUICIDE. WANGANUI, Nov. 25. A man . named David Robertson; a farm hand working near Kai Iwi, attempted to cimmit suicide by cutting his throat, on AVednesday night. He was brought into the hospital to-day.
