AA'HATAUPOKO-AIAKAURI RO \D - RACE.

The road race from AATintaupcko to Makauri and back, for prizes donated by Messrs Aston Bros., took place yesterday evening, and resulted as follows: —Nisbett (2min) 1, Simpsdn (10 sec) 2. Heaney (2min) 3. The wuner’s time was 30min. There were 15 starters. Mr S. Tate acted as time-keeper and starter, and Messrs AATiitehead and Tate were the judges. This evoking a race will take place over the same course for boys under 16 years, prizes being donated by Messrs Aston Pros.
