Lissant Clayton, sharebroker, reports that the depression which exists in all stocks on the Auckland Stock Exchange at present is largely due to speculators having purchased forward during the recent excitement, and now being compelled to quit. It is an exceptional opportunity now 1 for genuine investors, as many of the best stocks are very low, and likely to improve at an early date. Grand Junctions and Consolidated Goldfields offer a great opportunity at the present moment, and a sharp rise may occur at any time now. Among other really good stocks which are certain to rise in the near future are Bendigos, “Watchmans, and Handsworths, while many other shares are bound to show improvement. He strongly urges investors who hold shares at the present time not to sell.
