Won by a length. Time, 51 3-ssec. Spring Handicap, 1 mile.—Maheno 7.8, 1; Akarana '7.5, 2; Celtic 6.12. 3. Also started: Tanekaha and Aristocrat. Won by a length. Time, lmin 45 2-ssec. FEILDING, Dec. I. ' For the concluding day of the'-Feild-ing races the weather was fine, and the attendance large. The fields were large, the racing good, and there were no accidents. Twelve bookmakers were licensed inside and ten outside. The fcotalisator receipts for the meeting were £17,143, against £16,983 last year. The following were the results of the racing:York Stakes, 6 furlongs.—Nvland 7.2, 1; Sir Antrim 7.6, 2; Sharpshooter 7.3, 3. Also started: Irish Rifle, Golden Eagle. Miss Winnie, Bliss', and Nicotine. Sir Antrim- put in a chair, lenge, but could not catch Nyland, who won by two lengths. Sharpshooter a length away third. Golden Eagle last. Time, lmin 14 3-ssec. Nikau Hack Handicap, 6 furlongs. —Magneto 8.1. 1; Rangikura 7.0. 2; ■Shannon Lass 8.10, 3. Also started: Thetis, Toariga, Waiouru Dervish, Singer, Leahora. Bravery, and Fieldbell. The placed horses fought out th'e finish, the winner getting the verdict by half a neck, half-a-length between second and third. Fieldbell last. Time, lmin 15 ]-ssec. Manchester Handicap, 1£ mile. —

Merrivonia 7.5, 1; Kilwinning 7.8 2; Roosevelt 8.13,. 3. Also started: Waipaku, Paisano, Mendip. Tiptoe, and Truganini. Tlie field was despatched to a .good start. When the stand was passed, Kilwinning, Waipaku, and Truganini were at the head of affairs, and Mendip last. At the six furlong post Merrivonia improved his position into third. Kilwinning and Truganini were still in front at the turn for home Paisano lying handy. Half-way up the straight Merrivonia came again, but Kilwinning heat him home by two lengths. A length separated second and third. Time, 28 3-ssec. ■ Cheltenham Hurdles, mile.—Feu de Joie 9.0, 1; Reumac 10.10, \2; ■Whimper 9.7, 3. Also started: Tyrannic. Stayboy, Polyanthus, and Whatakura. Tyrannic led the field for a mile, when he' was passed by Feu de Poie and Reumac. Feu de Joie winning on the post by a head, Whimper half-a-dozen lengths away.-third. Time, 3min 16 4-ssec. Rongotea Hack Hurdles,-T£- mile.— Master Paul 9.7, 1: Pearl" Reef 10110, . 2; Genuine 10.10. 3. Also started: Don Carlos, Arcadia, and ,Chasse. Mas--1 ter Paul led all the way, winning hv half-a-dozen ■ Time, 2min " 51 l-ssec. ■ ■. .V! . . Silva, arid Rapu. At the entrance into the straight Parable headed Teotane, and coming on won by a length and ahalf, half-a-length between second and third. Bismarck was fourth. Time, lmin 59sec. , Maiden Hack Scurry, 5 furlongs.— Amphianser 1, Nukukau 2, Separator 3. Also started: Moree. Plantation, Miss Sylvia, Nelius, Pilgrim’s March, East Wind, Handsome Maid, Captain, Idolatress, Jackman, Idealism, Blend, and Vida. Melologue led into the straight, where' she was passed by Ampliianser. Nukuhau ran into second place opposite the stand, and finished two lengths behind the winner. Miss Sylvia was left at the post, and took no part in the race. Time, lmin lOsec. Railway Welter, 7 furlongs.—Vi 1, Full Sail 2 Longner 3. Vi got the best of a good start, led throughout, and won by two lengths, lialf-a-lengtli between second and third. Time, 1111111 29sec. Paisano, San. Fernando, Captain Bell, and Notorious were scratched.
