At a meeting of the Otago branch of the New Zealand Trained Nurses’ Association a resolution was adopted objecting strongly to clause 125 of the Hospitals Bill as not called for bv the nurses, disastrous to private hospitals, to patients, and the public at large*, as it must mean a great increase in hospital charges and in the cost of nursing to every household where a nurse is required. At a meeting of the medical faculty is was decided to forward a strong protest against, sundry clauses of the Bill as it left the Lower House. '
