BURGLARIES AT STRATFORD
RAILWAY STATION AND SHOP ENTERED.
fPiiu Press Association ! STRATFORD, Dec. 5. Burglars effected an entrance to the Stratford railway station at an early hour this morning, obtaining a sum of about 30s, left in the till. The shop of Thomas Mercer, tobacconist, was also entered, but nothing was taken, as the thieves' were disturbed by _ an assistant who sleeps on the premises. In. both instances entry was effected by prising up a window.
