A complete change of programme is advertised, and the new. films, oompris- • ing those of scenic, comic, and dramatic’interest • will be shown, making m all a niecly varied asortment. With such pictures at “Buffalo Bill’s .famous Exploits,” “ A Voice from the Dead,”’ and “ Nick Carter in Danger,” to head the programme, the large audiences that are anticipated will be provided with something really sensational. These three melodramatic stories of the latest production, a/re particularly exciting, the first named) being also beautifully colored. Pathos will be imparted to the programme by a _ picture entitled “The Widow.” This is a film of human interest, and shows the lady kneeling with her son at the side of her late husband’s grave, the vision of the dead man .appearing to bless them both. Later, the widow receives an offer of marriage; although a second union is repugnent to her, she realises her child’s interest has to be studied. Eventually the weeding takes place, but the young woman’s thoughts still dwell upon her first marriage, and, slipping away unnoticed sh.o goes to the seashore and throws herself over a cliff. Youthful Britons” will appeal to the juveniles, being a boxing match between the Masters Oorrie; the world’s youngest exjponente of fistic art. .The comic films are unusually good l this time, including “ The Would-be Champion, m “ Mr Durant Wants Amusement,” and “ A Makeshift Postman.” m Other interesting subjects are The Water Carnival at Mexico,” ■^ rr ,T rain T through Gottenburg,” “The Interview/’ and “Russian Cavalry. •
