The following are the results of the games in the first tournament played on Saturday: Men’s Singles (Ist grade).—Blackburn beat Cowan, Sheppard beat Dodg. shun. Final: Sheppard beat Blackburn.
Men’s Singles (2nd grade).—Grimshaw' beat ' Simson, Schierning beat S. Coleman, Grimshaw beat Baldrey. Final: Grimshaw 1 beat iScliierning. Ladies Singles.—Miss Bright beat Miss Reynolds, Miss Crawford beat Miss F. Davies, Miss Sherratt beat Miss McCredie, Miss R. Reynolds beat Mis s Crawford, Miss Bradley beat Miss Sherratt.
Next Wednesday the ladies intend having a tennis afternon, and for the Christmas holidays a progressive Icdnis tournament has been arranged.

Black won by default from Wallis and Miss. L. Barker; R. Barker and Mrs W. R. Barker beat Gully and Miss Bennett; Fenwick and Miss N. Davies beat Miss Rees and Miss Foster by default; Matthews and Miss Sherratt beat R. Willock and Mrs Stevenson; Nolan and. Miss Murray beat Symeg and Miss Gordon; G. Willock and Miss Bull beat Arthur and Miss McLean; Bull and Miss E. Barker beat I. Smith and Miss Coleman; H. Barker and Miss Broadley beat W. R. Barker and Miss Symes; ,G. Grant and Miss Ensor beat Dr. MeKc-e and Miss Wallis.
