The strike ,position is unchanged. The western miners are ready to start. A mass meeting assembled at Lith- ' gow to hear the delegates’ report, but owing to the .presence of the police a scene of disorder occurred. The meeting adjourned till to-day. The Southern Miners’ Association has . endorsed the Strike Congress’s disapproval of a general strike. The suburban train services have been restored to the normal running to-day.
