SEVERAL VESSELS WRECKED

Heavy winds and snow storms have occurred in the United Kingdom, followed by a rapid thaw and torrential floods. In Devon and the Severn Valley thousands of acres are flooded. The London and North-Western Railway Co.’s steamer Rosstrevor is missing in the Irish Sea, with _2O hands and some passengers aboard. The German cargo liner Salati s is ashore at Dungeness. She is valued at £95,000. By the blizzard on the. Yorkshire and Lincolnshire coasts six vessels were wrecked or .badly damaged.
