Details of the Cloncurry- explosion show that five men were running off spirits in an hotel when one of them struck a match. A terrific explosion followed. Only two of the men were unhurt. Cullen, one of the victims, rushed down the street with his clothes blazing. The other two were found dead in tlie room with their clothes burned off. They received shocking injuries.
