OBITUARY.

DR. J. E. TREVOR, nv.u Pkehs Association.! CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 24. Dr. J. E. Trevor died here last night, aged 75. He was in the West Indies until 1868, and' then he sailed from London for New Zealand, and practised at KaiapoiUntil 1872. He then went to Ashburton, and was surgeon superintendent of Ashburton hospital as well,as coroner for the borough for many -years. He was twice married. He leaves a widow, but no children.
