At the Migistrate’s Court this morning Wells pleaded guilty to a charge of desertion, and was order, ed to contribute £1 10s a week towards the support of his wife and child, and enter into sureties not to abscond again. Wells is a teacher of music and conductor of the Blenheim Harmomo Society. •
