fI’KK Press Association.! PALMERSTON N., Dec. 24. At a sale to-day of the thoroughbred horses of Mr. G. P. Donnelly, the principal prices realised were as folows: — Black colt, bv Torpedo—Amber, 23gns, J. McCoombe; black filly, by San Fran —Gold Powder, 60gns, G. D. Greenwood; chestnut gelding, 3 years, by Wehakore—Loch Ada, 39gns, E. D. O’Rourke; bay gelding, by Torpedo — Amber. 53gns, F. Cannon; black gelding, by Gold Reef —Louisa, oOgns, Wooland; grey gelding, 3 years, by Gold Reef—Brizo, 41gns, Carr; bay gelding, 3 years, by Gold Reef—Amapuhi, 37 gns, J. McCoombe. The well-known hurdler Prospector was sold for 42gns to H. M. Simmonds, Palmerston North. Defeat, another well-known jumper, hroueht 42gns, the purchaser being E. D. O’Rorke.
