MR JACKSON’S MURDER
United Press Association —Coptuicht, LONDON, Dec. 23.
Mr Jackson’s assassin is a Brahmin, who went to Nasih from Aurangabad, intending, to murder him, and alleging that Mr Jackson had sentenced Savarkar, a Brahmin, for sedition, whereas the sentence was not passed by Mr Jackson, but by the sessions judge at Calcutta.
Mr Jackson was an eminent Sanskrit scholar.

Mr. Jackson’s murder is the sole topic in Indian circles. The newspaper “Indian Mirror” demands the formation of vigilance committees.
