FAMOUS ORNITHOLOGIST AND
GERMAN BANKER.

V./ The deaths are announced of Richard ißowdler Sharpe, a famous ornithologise, and Paul MendelLssohn Bartholdy, head of Mendellssohn’s bank in Berlin. MR. L. A. NATHAN. LONDON, Dec. 28. Mr Louis Arthur Nathan, a New 'Zealander, is dead. . s I Per Press Association.! AUCKLAND, Dec. 29. Mr. Louis A. Nathan, whose death is reported by cable, was a member of the 'firm of L. D. Nathan and Co., Auckland. He went Home to represent the firm in 1872, and latterly was m business as a colonial commercial agent. He was a brother of Mr Sidney Nathan, of Auckland, and Mr. Walter R. Na4;han. of Wellington.
