ADVICE
United Piikbs Association —Copyright. SYDNEY, Jan. 6.
Mr Hughes is following on the heels of Mr. Bowling, addressing the Southern miners. He is having a mixed reception with strong opposition at some meetings. Mr. Hughes strongly reiterated’ his opposition to a strike in the South and opposition to a general strike. The Southerners had come out in support of the Northern men. If they insisted not to go back till their grievances were redressed so that all would go back together, they would have to wait till the day of judgment.
