THE BISHOP OF BALLARAT RESIGNS. The Bishop of Ballarat has notified his intention to resign, /He considers that a younger and more vigorous man is needed to deal with the diocese. The Right 1 Rev. Arthur Vincent Green, Bishop of Ballarat, is 63 years of age, being'a native of Surrey. He has held his present position for ten years, and six’years prior to that was Bishop of Grafton anS Armidalo. THE FEDERAL- CENSUS. Arrangements have been made for the completing of the Commonwealth census, on -April 2nd and l 3rd next year.
