Fiddy, Lowe Street. -» To-day Messrs Miller and Craig, under instructions from the Deputy Official Assignee, will bold an auction sale of furniture, glass, crockery and ironmongerv, at the Lowe Street- mart, at 2.30 p.m. Several large lots are t-o be submitted, so as to suit wholesale buyers. To-morrow (Thursday) is tlie last day on which discount is allowed on the Gas Company’s accounts for last month. In this issue Messrs J. Peekover and Co. advertise a number of desirable properties for sale. Messrs W. Pettie and’ Co.’s summer sale begins to-day and will extend over three weeks. An advertisement in this issue of the “Times” draws attention to a few of the leading lines in drapery etc., offered. Mr C. J. East, teacher of pianoforte and organ, 311, Palmerston Road, will resume tuition on Monday, January 31st. _ It is notified that Messrs Sydenham Oxenhnm, John Oxenham and William John Batv carrying oh business as brick, tile andl nipo manufacturers at Ivaiti, have dissolved partnership. Mr Baty wall pay the accounts of and receive the debts due to the partnership. It is notified that fresh tenders for additions and alterations to the Gisborne Courthouse wall be received at the Public Works Office, Otoko, until noon on January 31st.
