MAX DROPS DEAD. (Teh Phf.ss Association'.f AVELLINGTON, Jan. 22. A man named Howarih, aged about 40. apparently a sailor, dropped dead outside the rac-e course. DEATH FROAI -HEART DISEASE. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 22. AArilliam Reddin, aged about 60, died suddenly on Thursday evening in a hoarding house iu St. Asaph street, in which he had been living for the past three weeks. About 12.30 .p.m. the owner of the boarding-house heard sounds of distress from Reddin’s room, and on opening the door found him lying on the bed in a moribund condition! He died before a medical man arrived. At the inquest a. verdict of heart disease was returned.
