RATHE PICTURES.
The change of programme presented by the Patlie picture proprietary on Saturday night attracted a very large audience to His Majesty’s Theatre. A great variety of films, pourtraying subjects of historic* dramatic, scenic, industrial and' humorous interest, were projected on the screen, and, judging by the applause with which they were greeted, were most acceptable to be audience. The “star” film was a dramatic subject, “The Death of Mozart,” and it was one of the best yet seen in Gisborne, being remarkable for its clearness and completeness of detail. There will be another complete change of programme on Wednesday night, when a. magnificent film entitled “The Life of Washington” will be shown. This is a remarkable picture, over a mile in length, and the showing of it occupies close upon an hour.
