Messrs Richardson and Co.’s Fanny rived from South early yesterday morning, bringing a cargo of posts, house-blocks, strainers, etc. She returned during the afternoon. The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s< Swan'ey arrived from Auckland yesterday morning. She should get away to-morrow, after loading about 4000 bales of wool. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall arrived in the Bay at 11 a.m. yesterday, from Auckland, via Tologa Bay, and came ■up to the wharf in the afternoon. She nailed on the 22nd at 2.30 p.m., passing East Cape at 7.30 p.m. on the 23rd, and arriving at Tologa Bay at 2 a.m. on 24th. Discharged cargo and proceeded to Gisborne at 7 a.m. She experienced throughout the passage variable winds and moderate weather conditions. She brought the following cargo: 15 sacks empty bottles, 30 eases dried fruits, 40 cases tinned fruits. 30 cases tea, 22 crates biscuits, 30 packages nails, 500 bags sugar, 12 cases g. iron. 1166 pieces timber, 60 50’s Hour, 54 sacks flour, 60 case kerosene, 4-0 cases benzine. 10 eases syrups. 20 cases turpentine. 60 bags cement, 15 bales paper, 494 sacks coke, 60 bags lime, 21 cases matches, 102 bundles box timber, 90 Lags salt, 35 cases ale, 320 bars Iron. 35 cases sauces, 15 cases vinegar, 12 packages shovels, 14 hales kapok, 20 evse-s drapery, 10 eases stationery: i'iso transhipments ex Martian and .Morayshire from Home ports, and quantity yof sundries. 6 hales wool. 25 cases bottles. The Squall returns this evening for Auckland. The auxiliary schooner Kaeo should mil this evening for Coast ports and Auckland. The position of purser has been held for two years on the Kaeo by Mr. A. Fraser, but he has now resigned, and the position will be taken bv Mr. Cecil King, for several years clerk in the Union Bank. The U.S.S. Co.’s Tarawera is due from South to-morrow morning, leaving later for Auckland. The Tuatea goes out at 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. The Huddart-Parker fCo.’s Win»:;era arrives from Sydney and Auckland to-morrow evening, leaving later for South. The- U.S.S. Co.’s Flora, which left T baton at 4 a.m. yesterday for Wellington. returned t-o Picton for towers attending the- Picton regatta, idaring at 10 p.m. for Wellington. She leaves there to-day for Napier, arriving to-morrow morning, and leaving in the afternoon for Gisborne, which port r.'Jie reaches on Thursday morning, leaving later for Coast ports and Auckland. The U.S.S. Co.’s Wanakn is due early this morning from South, . and leaves later for Auckland. The Westport Coal Co.’s Regulus leaves early this morning on her. return to Westport.
