A ZONE SYSTEM. United Puess Association —Copyiugiit. (Received January 24, 9.40 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 24. The International Institute of Agriculture has divided the countries with which it deals into geographical zones to facilitate the collection of statistics. The northern zone includes North America, Europe, and Asiatic Russia. The central zone includes Mexico, Central America, North Africa, and Asia. The southern zone includes the rest- of America, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. The provisional estimates .of the yield of com for 1909-1910 are: Argentina 42,175,000 quintals, Australia 22,317,000, Chili' 6,400,000, and Uruguay 2,0T0,000. [A quintal :s 220 lbs.[
