BOARD OF INQUIRY AT WELLINGTON.

fPuu Presb Association.! WELLINGTON, Jan. 27. The Board of Inquiry into the affair of ex-Captain Knyvett, formerly in •command of the A. Battery, Auckland —Lieut.-Col. Chaytor (president), Capt. Bosworth, and Capt. Sandtmann —are sitting this afternoon to further review the case. This course is the outcome of the deputation which waited on the Prime Minister recently and pointed out that the first day’s evidence, taken at the original enquiry, had not been before the Adjutant-General or the Cabinet. Sir Joseph W T ard then said that he would refer the matter back to the Board. The sitting is not open to the press.
