Wellington, and Napier early yesterday morning, and alter discliarging left "at 10.30 a.m. for Coast ports ryji! Auckland. She is to load 1000 boles of wool on the coast for transhipment; to the Home steamer Marere at Auckland. The Weka arrived from Napier yesffcerdav morning with a general cargo, including 200 posts, 78 sleepers for the Railway Department, 1 horse, 125 Romney ewes for Captain J. Tombleson. 15 'Southdown rams for Mr. A. H. Wallis, Said 2 Romney rams for Mr. J. Clark. She returned to Napier late in the afternoon. The Anchor Shipping and Foundry Co.’s Waimea (Gisborne Sheepfarmers’ Company, agents) arrived from Greymouth via Napier yesterday morning. Her cargo was made up as follows: 41,171 feet timber for Cave Bros., '15,189 feet for Clayton Bros., 29,538 feet for J. Colley, and 3204 feet for George Smith. The W aimea- was expected to sail for Wellington at 6.30 this morning. Messrs Richardson and Co. are despatching a steamer from Napier on .Tuesday for Gisborne. She will bring a number of prize stud sheep from the Hawke’s Bay ram fair. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Co/s TG iramea left Napier last evening, and arrives here this morning to load for (London. The U.S.S. Co.’s Tarawera returns fiom Auckland to-morrow afternoon, and leaves for South during the evening. The Tuatea goes out on arrival land at 5 p.m. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall leaves Auckland to-clay for Tologa- Bay" and Gis- , Borne. She should arrive hero on 'Monday. T’he P._ and O. Company’s R.M.S. Malwa- sailed from London, with Auckland as her terminal port, on December 31. The Malwa will make her ' Homeward voyage from Auckland, via ■Sydney, Hobart, -and Melbourne. Tli Mongolia, which was leaving London o January 28, and the Morea, which is due to sail from the Thames on February 25, will also come -to Auckland after touching at Australian ports, and return by the same route. The sailings of these vessels from Auckland will occur during the busiest seasons of travel, as far as New Zealand is concerned.
