A SOCIALIST PROCESSION—DISPERSED BY THE POLICE.

A Socialist body, known as the International Industrialists, to-day organised a demonstration to protest against the imprisonment of Bowling and other strike leaders. Several hundred .people, after being warned by the police, marched in the procession through th© streets, headed by a red flag, and singing revolutionary songs, hooting Mr. Wade and cheering the imprisoned leaders. When passing Darlinghurst gaol, a posse of police captured the flag, scattered the procession, and arrested six of the leaders, named Feldhausen, Anderson, Considine, Reilly, Hansen, and Morris, on charges of behaving in ail offensive manner in the public streets.
THE CONSPIRACY TRIAL. The hearing of the conspiracy charges against Bowling and other leaders was resumed to-day. Brennan is still ill, and stayed only a few minutes in the Court. The Crown case has closed.
DECISION OF NEWCASTLE MINERS’ BOARD.
(Received February 8, 11.30 p.m.) NEWCASTLE, Feb. 8.
The Miners’ Delegates’ Board has decided to recommend the Miners’ Lodges to immediately take a ballot whether they should lie represented on the Wages Board. The proceedings were lively. A section of the delegates strongly deprecated any weakening in regard to the strike or having anything to do with the Wages Board.
