Messrs F. S. Malcolm and Co. will hold an auction sale of furniture and effects, and also of fruit, at their mart at 2 p.m. to-day. Messrs J. Peckover and Co. advertise a poultry farm, a villa on Stanley Road, and other properties for sale. Messrs Williams and Kettle will offer the well-known racing mare Spate .to public auction at their horse bazaar at noon on Saturday next. Mr. W. Lissant Clayton advertises a Queensland property of 40,000 acres, carrying 30,000 sheep and 1000 cattle, for sale.
Mr. Cecil F. Lewis advertises that the trustees of the Foresters’ 'Lodge have £ooo to lend on approved security. Mr. G. F. Wilson, Union Steamship Company, advertises his house in Rutene Road to let, furnished or. unfurnished. Saturday next is to be the last day of Messrs W. Pettie and Co.’s summer sale. An advertisement in this issue gives .particulars of tlie bargains to be obtained at the sale. Messrs A. Rosie and Co. have an advertisement in this issue of the “Times” directing special atttention to their display of household linen.
