TENDER ACCEPTED FOR OTOKO VIADUCT.

The Cabinet to-day passed the following raliway votes: —Stratford-On game, £4000: Gisborne-Rotorua, £750; North Auckland. £1771; Midland, £2500; Hutt railway and road improvement, £12,000! For roads and bridges in various districts £4700 was voted, and £4400 for primary and technical schools.

A tender was accepted for the Otoko Valley viaduct on the Gisbornc-Motu railway. Tenders arc to be invited for progress works on the Westport-Inanghua raliway, and for the supply of railway bridge girders. Two thousand pounds were voted for improvements to the Porirua Mental Hospital.
