THE FROZEN MEAT MARKET

The Colonial Consignment and Distributing' Company, London, to-elay cabled the following report of.the frozen meat market: “Mutton, Napier, Wellington, and North Island, 33d; lamb ojd : beef, hindquarters forequarters 2gd.

DUNEDIN WOOL SALES. DUNEDIN, Feb., 10. The third wool sale of the season concluded to-night, a total of 3412 bales being submittc. Half-breds wer c a little firmer than at the previous sale, but merinos were irregular, and prices were a shade easier except for a few choice lots. The demand was chiefly confined to fellmongers. A large portion of the wool was heavy in condition, and some was tender and of poor quality. Half-breds sold for 13Jd per lb, crossbreds up to 12d, half-bred ewe pieces up to 12-jd, and merino to 133 d.

, HOME MARKETS. United Press Association' —Copyright LONDON, Feb. 9. Copper, on spot, is at £SB 15s; three months, £59 12s 6d. Electrolytic is at £6l 15s. Another burst and heavy liquidation in copper shares has been precipitated by the demoralised condition of the New York Stock Exchange. Tin, on spot, is at £147 10 ; three months, £l4B 17s 6d.
