The British New Guinea Development Company will shortly offer in London and Australasia £500,000 worth of 7 per cent, participating preference shares. Lord Ranfurly’s Papuan lands syndicate receives £52,000 cash and 223,000 ordinary £1 shares, ranking for dividend after the latter have received their 7 per cent.
