AN APPARENT SUICIDE

[Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Feb. 19. A telegram from Oliura reports that Dr. ItoAvland, a resident medico, Avas found dead last night, the top of his head having been blown off. A gun containing a discharged cartridge Avas lying across the body.

At the inquest concerning tho,death of the young man Parish, avlio blew his brains out on Thursday evening, tho evidence sliOAved that deceased was not addicted to drink, and was very steady. A verdict was returned that deceased died from a gun-shot Avound self-inflicted, during temporary insanity. FATAL RIDING ACCIDENT.
