THE WEATHER
The following is the* Rev. D. C. Bates’ summarjl and loreeast: Fair ■weather and moderate variable winds have prevailed, except about Foveaux Strait, where strong westerly winds and misty rains have been experienced. Present indications are for a slowly falling barometer, with freshening northerly* winds. Fair weather is probable generally, but a low pressure area is due to pass in the south on Thursday, and a change in the weather is expected to precede it.
