VESSELS IN PORT. Orete, a.s. Squall, s.s. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall arrived at 2 ( p.m. yesterday from Auckland via Tologa Bay. She sailed at 5 p.m. on the 19th, passed East Cape at 10.30 p.m. on the 20th, arriving at Tologa at 4.30 a.m. on the 21st ; discharged cargo and proceeded to Gisborne. While in Auckland the. Squall was docked and overhauled. Fine weather was experienced during the passage. She brought the following cargo:—46 sacks bottles, 40 boxes dried fruits, 1220 bags suger. 23 crates biscuits, 20 bags cement, 12S cases benzine, 13 bales paper, 10 coils rope, 6 packages saddlery, 56 cases tinned fish, 38 chests tea, 1809 pieces timber, 90 bags salt, 40 cases horse shoes, 12 cases apples, 60 cases acids, 6 cases matches, 15 casks vinegar, 20 cases soaps, .18 cases spirits, 10 cases tinned fruits, 21 cases com flour, 315 cases kerosene, 15 kegs soda, 122 sacks coke, G aaces tobacco, 60 coils wire, 33 packages furniture, 10 sacks peanuts, 24 rolls linoleum, 40 bags 501 b flour. 20 cases ale, 136 sacks coal, 20 bags rice, 40 hags lOOlbs flour, 13 cases syrups, 14 bales kapok, 238 sacks oats, 6 bales wool, quantity sundries, also transhipment cargo ex Kumara and Buteshire from Home ports. The Squall leaves to-day for Marsden Point, with a full load of sheep. The U.S.S. Co.’s Tarawera arrives from South to-morrow morning, leaving for Auckland as usual. The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s Wiha'katanc took the following .shipments from this port:—Per Messrs Bennett and Sherratt, 1035 hales of wool. 26 pockets of wool; per Bank of New Zealand, 294 bales of wool, 75 pockets wool, 21 bales skins, 27 casks tallow: per New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Co., 684 bales wool. 3 dumps skins; per Bank of New South Wales, 29 bales wool: per Messrs Williams and Kettle, 74 bales wool; total. 2137 bales wool. 101 pockets wool, 3 dumps skins, and 27 casks tallow. The New Zealand Shipping Co. s Wakanui is due from Auckland. about lab March to load for the April-Mav Home sales. She will be the company s last beat this season. The U.S.S.
