TO NEGOTIATE

Delegates representing 150,000 South Wales miners have resolved to permit the executive .to negotiate with the owners, but not to arrange a settlement without submitting the final terms for the men’s approval. A minority of the delegates demanded a national conference wit-li a view to a general strike. The men continue to demand an increase of the minimum wage.
