EFFECT' -ON ELECTRIC WIRES
United Press Association— Copyright (Received February 22, 9.30 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 22. During the gale the wi-nd affected overhead wires, and started the fire alarms in many districts of London, causing the fire engines to turn out.
